Because Cally linked me to this post, I had to make TFW2 rings. In order, they are: Jesse Turner, Ben Braeden, Claire Novak, Haley Collins, Tommy Collins, Ben Collins, Emily Jorgeson, Katie Doolittle, Aaron Birch, and Hunter Birch. (Hunter is an OC but I love them so much I couldn’t not make them a ring. :’D)

The Collins Roadhouse - The Google Sketchup Model

The Collins Roadhouse is where Tommy, Haley, and Ben Collins have lived since a storm destroyed their home in Colorado in 2006. Haley has always dreamed of (and failed multiple times at) starting her own business, and thankfully, this time it took off—she runs a hunter’s bar. The Collinses goal is not to become hunters or hunt things; they simply want to be safe. Over the years, they’ve fortified their little bar with all the wards, weapons, and safety measures they know how, a more expansive (and livable) version of Bobby Singer’s panic room. If you’re being followed, if there’s some sort of siege—there’s no safer place to go.

This model took literally months—maybe even a year to finish, working off and on. I am no architect, I don’t know how bars or kitchens really work, and this is probably a kind of crappy pulled-together thing as far as sketch-up models go. (I did not make all the little parts and pieces, but instead loaded ones other folks had made and put them in all the right places) The point was to add depth to the roadhouse, to the ‘verse, and that I think I have managed to do. Picture the actual version with a complete set of walls, more colors, and more junk. 

This model was based on a) an actual structure that I have made manips from before and b) a floorplan made on another site. (Obviously a few of those headcanons/modeling things have changed since then.) Scroll down for various close-ups.

We’ll start with the yard:

a payphone for anyone who wants to use it, and a cat/dog house for any strays that come by, to stop Ben from trying to hide them in his room. And dumpsters, because yeah.

They can’t camp as often when they’re running a business, so sometimes they pitch a tent and chill out in the backyard like kids. The picnic table and grill actually came with the house. The trampoline was on Tommy’s bucket list, so once they could afford it, they bought it. You can see the edge of a paved basketball court—that was paved when they got the place too, but Haley and Tommy put the basket up later.

This also came with the house. No one uses it, but no one’s ever taken it down, either.

This is one of the paths to the basement. More on that later.

Inside, the main area:

This is where the poker, the eating, the drinking, the socializing, etc all takes place. Pretend those stairs have a rail. There are 13 tables. You can eat upstairs if you like. Or outside, though there’s no tables and no waiting service: 

They have two bathrooms, but since they’re exactly alike and this IS the future (a hopefully more accepting one, since they do have an openly gay employee), they’re not labeled male or female. They’re “Bathroom 1” and “Bathroom 2” and “Bathroom 1” has a leaky sink.

See that closet under the stairs?

The trap door is another passage to the basement…

…and in the back is the one you saw outside. 

And here is the basement itself, which has lots of junk and also lots of places to sleep. All the cots are for a) people who might need protection, or b) people who really want to stay over and can’t fit in the guest room. The Collinses get first dibs on the actual beds. Don’t be fooled bytall the junk. Those barrels are full of holy oil and salt.

The attic has similar sleeping arrangements, and also sparring mats. In a real pinch, one could climb onto the roof from the window, down the ladder, and…back into the basement.

Then we have bedrooms, starting with Tommy’s:

Those extra doors lead to the bathrooms the boys share. They got the big bathroom, since they’re sharing.

Haley, on the other hand, got her own bathroom, though it is much smaller and has no tub: 

It is attached to her room, which is by far the largest bedroom. They agreed it was an even trade-off. 

And that’s it! I wish I knew a better way to ~present~ this, it looks much cooler when you can swing it around and zoom in yourself, but the sketchup file is huge and laggy.
